Kailyn Lowry Shares Motherhood Insecurities: ‘I Feel Like I’m Failing’

Honesty hour! Kalilyn Lowry shared some of her motherhood insecurities on Instagram, admitting that she doesn’t have it all together.

“Some days with these 3 go so smoothly I wonder how I got so lucky,” the Teen Mom 2 star, 27, wrote on Instagram on Friday, April 12. “Other days, I feel like I’m failing & not sure how we will make it through the day. This morning started off a little rough but by 7:30 everyone was happy & fed.”

The MTV personality added: “Hopefully this day reset & the smiles in this pic set the tone for family pictures later. My fingers are crossed everyone smiles & we get even just one pic!”

In the photo, her sons Isaac, 9, Lincoln, 5, and Lux, 20 months, smiled at the camera. The reality star shares her three boys with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, ex-husband Javi Marroquin and ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez, respectively.

In April, the A Letter of Love author told Us Weekly exclusively that she and her most recent ex Lopez “are not currently speaking.”

This came a month after Lowry criticized MTV for portraying her in a negative light. “I have struggled, y’all have seen it,” the “Coffee Convos” cohost tweeted in March. “I haven’t always made good choices. But I’m getting my s–t together. Started my company. Own a house, building another. … I don’t ever sit on my couch & talk about my baby dads as much as I do when MTV is asking. I feel like that’s such a smack in the face.”

While she admitted that “drama sells,” Lowry said, “From what I see the happy stories/tv personalities have a bigger following & more opportunity. Am I wrong? At what point can I stop being portrayed as a bitter baby momma?”

The next day, she told followers on her Instagram Story that she “definitely” wanted to have more kids.
