Lindt calls back milk chocolate because of plastic parts
The Lindt & Sprüngli Schweiz AG has launched a recall for a Batch of the chocolate “milk Pretzel” (100g). According to the company, it cannot be excluded that in the chocolate plastic parts.

The Lindt & Sprüngli Schweiz AG calls back a Batch of the chocolate “milk Pretzel” 100g. “As a result of a consumer’s reference and comprehensive internal investigations cannot be excluded that in a few panels (<10) of the production batch (L2979) the chocolate “milk Pretzel” 100g, small plastic pieces of packaging accessories can,” writes the company in a customer’s information.
Affected product should not be consumed
The Lindt & Sprüngli Schweiz AG urges all consumers not to consume the affected products with the lot number – LOT Code: L2979 and the date of minimum durability 31/01/2020.
The data indicate that the product is to be used immediately out of the trade.
“Consumers who have the affected product at home, it can bring in the appropriate point-of-sale return and receive a refund of the sale price. Also without presentation of the receipts,“ says the manufacturer.
