Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Claire Barnes, from Lepicol Lighter, has explained how to kick-start your journey.

She said: “It’s better to start implementing healthy eating habits and exercise into your lifestyle today, rather than waiting.
“These small steps should be easy to achieve and will gradually have you beach body ready for the summer and beyond.”
1. Have a goal
When we have a goal that we’re working towards, we are better at achieving it.
Getting fit and healthy should be a lifestyle choice which will require small steps over time.
If your first goal is to be beach body ready for summer, consider what your goal will be after that.
Tell your family and friends your goals and visual yourself achieving them.
4. Add in a high-fibre supplement
Psyllium husks can help to improve bowel mobility and increase removal of waste products.
A new unique high-fibre supplement, Lepicol Lighter, which includes psyllium husks, as well as glucomannan, can be shown to contribute to weight loss.
When taken before a meal, glucomannan helps to reduce the hunger hormone which can control the amount you eat.
Lepicol Lighter also contains chromium, an essential mineral which helps to maintain normal blood sugar levels.
5. Stress management
Stress may lead to the accumulation of tummy fat, which could lead to inflammatory conditions.
Take steps to reduce stress, such as spending more time outdoors, balancing work and life patterns.
Mindfulness, meditation and yoga can really help you to achieve these goals.
6. Exercise
A weight loss plan should involve some gentle exercise, both cardiovascular and strength which will encourage fat burning.
An exercise programme should be part of an ongoing lifestyle change, so small steps are key to keeping the motivation alive.
Claire suggests choosing an activity which you enjoy participating in, such as cycling or swimming.
