Coronavirus is an infectious disease which has been confirmed in more than one million individuals across the world. You could be at risk of COVID-19 infection if you often feel tired and fatigued, it’s been revealed.
Cases are continuing to rise in the UK, and the government has urged the public to stay at home, to avoid becoming infected or spreading the virus further.
People have been advised to remain indoors, as more than 50,000 UK individuals have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The most common warning signs of the disease include a high fever, and a new, continuous cough.
But, you could also be at risk of coronavirus if you often feel tired or fatigued.
Persistent tiredness could be a warning sign of COVID-19, warned the World Health Organization.
Some patients have described their experience of coronavirus as feeling tired all the time.
That may include failing to get to sleep, or simply feeling fatigued during the day.
But, feeling tired could be easily missed during the working week, so it’s important to self-isolate and stay at home.

“The COVID-19 virus affects different people in different ways,” said the WHO.
“COVID-19 is a respiratory disease and most infected people will develop mild to moderate symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment.
“People who have underlying medical conditions and those over 60 years old have a higher risk of developing severe disease and death.
“People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy should self-isolate and contact their medical provider or a COVID-19 information line for advice on testing and referral.”

The most common coronavirus symptoms include having a very high fever, or developing a new, continuous cough.
Anybody that feels hot to the touch on their chest or back could be showing early coronavirus symptoms.
Similarly, a new, continuous cough is a common sign of the infection.
Anyone that’s been coughing more than usual for longer than a one-hour period, or if they’ve had at least three coughing episodes every 24 hours, should self-isolate.

Everyone has been told to remain at home to avoid spreading the infection.
You should only leave your home to go food or medicine shopping, for medical help, traveling to and from work – where absolutely necessary – and for one form of exercise every day.
More than 50,000 people in the UK have tested positive for coronavirus, according to latest government figures.
Of the 51,608 confirmed cases, 5,373 people have died from the infection.
